Went out on the river yesterday (Sunday) on what may have been the last day for paddling this season. We put in at turning point park off of Lake Ave, north of the city. From there we did a quick couple hour trip, as the gates in the park were being closed at 3pm. We headed south towards the 104 bridge, and then turned around to head back. I wish we had more time to go further, but getting the cars stuck behind locked gates in the park would not be good! I didn't have a chance to take many pictures because the wind was blowing hard enough to push my canoe into places I didn't want to go if I wasn't paddling. It's a nice spot to go, and I'll certainly be going back in the spring. I'll get the couple pictures I took posted as soon as I take them off my camera.
