Hello: My name is Rich and I'm really interesting in learning to Kayak. I'm 42 yrs old and live in Dutchess County NY. My main concern is where do I start and quite honestly are there kayaks large enough for someone my size. I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 285 lbs. so not sure if I can actually fit in a kayak. Any information or tips that can be provided would greatly be appreciated. If anyone lives in the Wappingers Falls/Beacon area that can help me that would be great as well.
